Desert Excursion FAQ

The hike is moderate (1-2 miles) on easy terrain. Most fitness levels can complete it. We can adjust for mobility issues.

Our tour runs in the late afternoon and evening when temperatures are cooler. We provide ample water and shade during the hike.

Layers are essential: a t-shirt, a long-sleeve shirt, and a jacket for after sunset. Comfortable closed-toe shoes. We provide blankets for chill.

There are restrooms at the trailhead and along the route. In the desert, we also provide a privacy tent if needed.

Our gourmet picnic is included and plentiful. You may bring extra snacks, but no glass containers for safety.
